Message You can do it as referenced above, though, by dropping the clutch and very quickly applying enough pedal pressure to keep the front wheels stopped in place, while the backs spin. A line lock adds a level of safety, in addition to saving the life of your rear brake pads, by locking the pressure on the front calipers.
